Introduction

This module covers Malignant Hyperthermia (MH), a life-threatening condition that occurs when patients at risk are exposed to volatile anesthetics and succinylcholine, a muscle relaxant. MH is an inherited condition of the skeletal muscles that can occur intraoperatively or postoperatively.
